At Guppy’s, we strive to provide an excellent dining experience for all our customers. Unfortunately, over the years, we have encountered several challenges associated with accepting prepaid credit cards.

These challenges include:

1. Fraud Prevention: Prepaid credit cards are often used in fraudulent transactions because they are more difficult to trace compared to traditional credit or debit cards. By not accepting them, we aim to protect our customers and our business from potential fraud.

2. Payment Verification: Unlike traditional credit and debit cards, prepaid credit cards do not always have the necessary information for us to verify the cardholder’s identity. This can complicate transactions and increase the risk of payment disputes.

3. Security Concerns: In cases where a refund is necessary, processing returns to pre-paid credit cards can be more complex and, at times, problematic. This can lead to delays and inconveniences for our customers, which we want to avoid.

For these reasons, we do not accept prepaid credit cards as a form of payment.

We do accept all other forms of conventional credit cards.
